Every year about this time I am reminded how much I absolutely adore fall. It is my favorite season. I am convinced Mother Nature decided the months of October and November were her gifts to horseback riders.
What is not to love? Cooler temps, frisky ponies, clear blue skies, multi-colored trails, no bugs, dry air and you can ride all day long, come home and fix fence, take care of all the horse keeping chores and still have energy left to walk the dog because the heat has not sucked every bit of life out of you. In fact you probably have not even broken a sweat.
