Grateful Fridays

For this week’s feature I’m changing it up a little.  It’s still all about gratitude, but I noticed that

“Be the change you want to see in the world” – Gahndi

I know it is a little trite but still speaks volumes.  In just a few words is exemplifies the importance of setting examples and having integrity.

“If you can’t listen, you have to feel” – Unknown

I’m not sure who originated the quote but I use to have a co-worker say it all the time.  It’s true!  If you cannot learn from what other people say and take the advice that is given, you have to go out and experience for yourself.  Sometimes this is a good thing, but sometimes it isn’t.

“Let the beauty we love, be what we do” – Rumi

To me this says do what you love and you will be a shining light in the world.

“Save your strength for things that you can change, forgive the ones you can’t, you gotta let ’em go” – Zac Brown Band

It’s pretty much the serenity prayer wrapped up in a few lines and sang by one of my all time favorite bands.

“If you got a taste of that, you couldn’t get enough. You’d rather do that than eat. You may spend your whole life chasin’ that and you may never get it, but it’s a good thing to chase.” – Buck Brannaman

Buck uses this line in his movie “Buck” in reference to operating a horse based on a “feel”.  It sums up why I ride.

I hope you all have a great weekend and if you would like to see the rest of challenge posts please visit the following links:
