On Monday Dad fell and broke his hip. He is already in such a deteriorated condition that the last two days have been really touchy as to what this means for him.

I spent the first half of my day today laying on the couch.  I literally got out of bed, took care of the morning chores and then laid around until about 1pm.  I guess the stress of it all took a physical toll.  This afternoon when he was finally in a stable condition I knew it was time to load up my pony and go to the woods.  There is something about being in balance with and on your horse that causes the world around to realign as well.

Look at the beautiful gift Mother Nature gave us in the quiet of the afternoon trails. The calm after the storm…..
