Book Review – Bear In The Backseat

I’ve finished my first book of 2019. I’ve decided I’m going to try to be consistent this year in reviewing my reading list on the blog.

I enjoyed this book and found it to be a fast read. It’s not a book that you must drop everything to pick up but it has entertaining stories from a ranger on the inside of the National Park System. I particularly liked learning more about how things work inside the park system and especially liked that this was set in The Smoky Mountains National Park, which is the park I’ve spent the most time in and have many fond childhood memories from.

The book definitely made me long to re-visit Cades Cove and if our government ever decides to operate again I’d like to plan a trip there soon.
