This mural is painted on plywood as part of a scaffolding that protects pedestrians as they walk by a major construction project. The painting of the curtain runs the entire length of the project and spaced along the curtain is a depiction of Elvis and then even further down a woman peeking out from behind the red velvet. It’s really a cool work of art and it saddens me that eventually the construction project will finish and this mural will be taken down.

That certainly generates a smile. I’d be sad it was going away, too, but what a great thing to have instead of just blank fence or barricade.

I totally agreed, I love that someone painted this in spite of its known fate.

A great mural. Let’s hope it’s needed for a while yet
