Lots of fun pictures to share for The Changing Seasons this month as I had many good adventures in November: a trip to the beach, trail rides, two visits to the zoo, an uptown photo shoot and days at home to ride and just be with my hubby and fur kids.

He was asleep. I suspect as a general rule animals in captivity, having food requirements met and little space to roam, spend much more of their days asleep than than their counterparts in the “wild”.

It must be difficult to stimulate animals in such an environment.

Yes I am sure it is difficult. I am glad that many zoos are taking this into account now a days and have enrichment programs for the animals, although I am sure, in spite of this, there is still a lot of boredom and displaced behaviors and mental difficulties for them.
