2020 has not started out the way I had planned. It’s been a very wet month and ALL of my riding plans for this month were cancelled due to either rain, poor ground conditions, closed trails or a lame horse.
This month Tucker has had some intermittent lameness. He’s had a hoof abscess that just didn’t want to clear up. I think we are finally on the far side of it and keeping it clean and healing may prove a challenge but I’m feeling hopeful that we have a good approach to getting him 100% sound again.
With the weather not being optimal for outdoor activities I have not really done as much this month as I usually do. At any rate here are a few shots I’ve been able to grab in a few various locations to include the local botanic gardens, the aviary, the park, the zoo and my own backyard.

Beautiful series of captures – those are incredible critter captures!
Hope Tucker feels 100% soon – you must be so concerned for him.
May February be filled with better weather so you can venture outdoors more!

A lovely selection never the less 🙂 I do hope Tucker can recover. Wet weather and hoof problems don’t mix

It is indeed tough. Most horse owners I know are having some kind issue with their farm or animals due to the wet weather.
