After a long wet Winter I took my favorite horse over to the local trails. Just he & I and it was glorious. I hadn’t realized how badly I needed the ride until I was actually on it.
Hard to believe this was only a week and a half ago.
Now the world is completely sideways and I realize this will probably be the last off property ride we have for awhile. And so I cherish and hold on to the memory.
I am grateful for our home. To have a place to ride, to work on projects to enjoy our animals and watch Mother Nature Spring from Winter slumber. As isolating oneself goes, I am fortunate.
