Here is my list of 5 things I am grateful for from this week:
- Kicking off the “Fit For Good” challenge at work. It is my favorite employee initiative to be in charge of. Since the holidays are a hard time of year to maintain our fitness routines, I put the participants in teams and together they accumulate minutes doing fitness activities of their choice. At the end of the of the year the team with the most minutes gets to choose a charity for the company to make a donation to.
- A new desk set up in my home office. I now have a window view and house plants. It is perfect.
- Dinner with a friend.
- Fuzzy horses as their Winter coats grow in. I love when they are soft and warm like teddy bears at this time of year.
- That the local park is making improvements to the space so more people can enjoy it.
Sounds like a great week. I love the fit challenge at your workplace. Lots of winners in that scenario. Donna

Thinking of horses as teddy bears …. cuddly!
I am a big fan of making public spaces beautiful & accessible to more people – looking forward to having a peek when the Park Improvements are fun!
Hurray for “Fit for Good” – what a wonderful & healthy program to take charge of! and with a charity donation at the end – fabulous!

Our county is very good about maintaining our park system, I was just thinking yesterday how grateful I am to have so many spaces to run in that are beautiful and safe close to the house.

As am I – these spaces are so precious and definitely not something I take for granted.

The horse’s winter coat is so nice isn’t it. We had a retired horse , years ago, she lied out 24/7 and she grew the most amazing coat and it kept her warm even in the snowy Ontario winter.
